Negli scorsi giorni DC Comics ha annunciato il rinvio a data da destinarsi della mini in sei parti intitolata Event Leviathan: Checkmate
La serie di Brian M. Bendis e Alex Maleev era originariamente prevista a inizio giugno ma l’emergenza covid-19 ha sospeso l’uscita dei fumetti, portando alla situazione attuale .
Checkmate segue gli eventi – ancora inediti da noi – di Event Leviathan.

Event Leviathan: Checkmate spins out the events of Bendis and Maleev’s 2019 title Event Leviathan. In the story, the malevolent organization Leviathan, now led by former Manhunter Mark Shaw, who also goes by the name Leviathan, takes over the DC Universe’s espionage underground.
Opposing Leviathan is a new version Checkmate, which is comprised of Lois Lane, Green Arrow, Talia al Ghul — herself Leviathan’s former leader — and the Question to covertly combat Leviathan.
Written by Brian Michael Bendis with art by Alex Maleev, Event Leviathan: Checkmate currently does not have a release date.
