Marvel: annunciate due maestose connecting variant cover di Alex Ross

Quest’anno, la Marvel Comics è orgogliosa di onorare i 60 maestosi anni dei Vendicatori e degli X-Men! Nuovi fumetti, raccolte e molto altro sono in serbo per i fan tutto l’anno e, a partire da agosto, Alex Ross allieterà i festeggiamenti USA con le sue meravigliose cover! Per questa pietra miliare di due dei team di supereroi più rivoluzionari dell’industria dei fumetti, l’incomparabile artista ha realizzato due straordinarie opere d’arte che fungeranno da  connecting variant cover per le diverse testate di Avengers e X-Men per tutto il 2023.
Quella dedicata agli Avengers è stata già rivelata, mentre quella mutante probabilmente sarà ufficiale a partire da Lunedì

Riguardo proprio a questa cover Ross ha dichiarato :

“In the case of the Avengers, I wanted to capture something of the era I grew up with, but also something extensive,” “So I captured the first 30 years of that team, from the ‘60s through the ‘80s. I end where 1989 closes. I’m trying to make sure my work is aligning with how the character looked and also the attitudes the characters had.”

Ed ecco anche la versione dedicata al mondo mutante

“With the X-Men piece, I didn’t originally make the design. I copied an existing classic cover design that everybody would know and connect to,”. “The X-Men piece is showing an accentuation of the action, where it’s a split second difference later. Wolverine is completing a full attack swipe and everybody is attacking harder. I added in the bit with lightning coming from Storm, which would be a split second of movement.”
