Dopo qualche timido accenno qualche mese fa è ora ufficialmente in arrivo la miniserie Justice League vs. The Legion of Super-Heroes.
Questa serie in 6 numeri inizierà negli USA l’11 gennaio 2020 e vedrà al timone l’attuale scrittore della JL, nonché ex autore della legione : Brian Michael Bendis, il tutto sarà illustrato da Scott Godlewski.
La trama sembrerebbe essere un preludio a ciò che prepara Darkseid nel finale di Infinite Frontier #6.
One thousand years in the future, a Legion of Super-Heroes comes together to dedicate their lives to recapturing the great age of heroes of the 21st century. When the heroes discover that reality is falling to a great darkness in both times simultaneously, the Justice League and the Legion of Super-Heroes must team up to stop it all. But what is the connection between the secrets of the new Gold Lanterns and the coming of the Great Darkness?
Sia l’attuale Justice League che gli ero di 1000 anni del futuro si accorgeranno della “grande oscurità” in cui stanno cadendo le loro realtà e per questo lotteranno per fermarla. Nonostante le informazioni sembrino suggerire una collaborazione tra i due gruppo, rimane interessante il fatto che il titolo ruoti attorno alla parola Versus , il che potrebbe nascondere qualche sorpresa non ancora rivelata.
La DC ha dichiarato che Justice League vs. The Legion of Super-Heroes si connetterà anche al lavoro dello stesso Bendis sulla Legione, come per esempio le Lanterne Dorate da lui introdotte, ma anche a “The Great Darkness Saga” del 1982
