Embracer Group stipula un accordo per acquisire Dark Horse

Nelle scorse ore è stato annunciato che Dark Horse Comics entrerà a fare parte del colosso dei videogame Embracer Group, con un accordo che sarà chiuso ad inizio 2022

Il nuovo proprietario avrà il compito di sfruttare al meglio l’immenso potenziale della libreria della casa editrice USA, dall’altra parte attraverso l’acquisizione, Embracer rafforza le sue capacità transmediali aggiungendo competenze nello sviluppo di contenuti, nella pubblicazione di fumetti e nella produzione di film e TV. Dark Horse possiede o controlla più di 300 proprietà intellettuali, molte delle quali interessanti per il futuro sfruttamento transmediale, inclusa la creazione di nuovi videogiochi. Il fondatore e CEO di Dark Horse, Mike Richardson, continuerà a guidare l’azienda insieme al management esistente.
