Empyre: Avengers Aftermath #1, uno one-shot scritto da Al Ewing e in uscita a settembre, celebrerà finalmente l’unione tra due personaggi, per la quale erano stati dati già alcuni indizi con una copertina spoiler in passato: si tratta di Hulking, il nuovo imperatore degli imperi alieni Kree e Skrull, e il suo storico fidanzato Wiccan, che in una locandina presentata dalla Casa delle Idee sono rappresentati abbracciati, circondati dai loro amici più cari – Spiderman, Fantastici Quattro, X-Men, Pantera Nera. Il testo della locandina realizzata da Jim Cheungs recita “Siete invitati ad unirvi ai festeggiamenti per l’unione tra l’Imperatore Dorrek VIII e il suo compagno terrestre”.
Empyre: Avengers Aftermath #1 si riallaccia agli eventi raccontati in Empyre #4, uscito ieri in tutte le fumetterie, e realizzato sempre da Al Ewnig in collaborazione con Dan Slott e Valerio Schiti.
