Il traguardo dei 1000 numeri si avvicina per Batman, che ha fatto la sua prima comparsa su Detective Comics #27,il 30 marzo 1939.
Per festeggiarlo a settembre DC rilascerà un albo di ben 144 pagine, coinvolgendo un cast di nomi spettacolare, per omaggiare uno dei suoi simboli nel mondo del fumetto.
